Stephen Osagiede Oronsaye  
Retired as Director - Served in the CBN from 7/31/2008 To 6/26/2014








Stephen Oronsaye was born on 16th November, 1950 in Edo State. He had his early education and higher school certificate in Lagos at the St. Gregory�s College, Lagos and later obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration at the University of Calabar.
 

He was the Principal Secretary to the President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2008. He also served as the Permanent Secretary, State House, during that period and chaired various Committees within the same period. He was appointed Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance on 31st July, 2008.
 

Stephen Oronsaye who is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) was conferred with the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) and Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) in 2004 and 2006 respectively.

He is married with four children.
