Design:
The new commemorative N100 centenary banknote was unveiled by Mr President on 12th November, 2014 and subsequently issued into circulation on 19th December 2014 to celebrate the centennial of Nigeria's existence. The notes are similar to its regular issue with the portrait of Chief Obafemi Awolowo on the front of the N100 Note.
