Mrs. Juliet A. Madubueze, OON  
Retired as   - Served in the CBN from 11/23/2005 To 8/17/2009








Born on the 7th November, 1945, she attended St. Joseph College, Aba, between 1959 to 1962. She later became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London. Mrs. Madubueze earned her M.Sc (Banking-Finance) from University of Ibadan in 1992. She became an Associate of the Institute of Arbitrators, U.K. in 2003 and also an Associate of Chatered Mediators and Reconciliators. Mrs. Madubueze was at the University of Nsukka between 1998 and 2005 where she obtained a Bachelor in Law Degree (LL.B).
Mrs. Madubueze is an External Director of Union Registrars Ltd. She is a Banker with vast experience spanning 37 years both in Nigeria and England as an employee of the Union Bank of Nigeria Plc., and Barclays Bank, London. She is the 1st Vice President of Chartered Institute of Bankers. She is a member of the following professional bodies:

  • Chartered Institute of Bankers London
  • Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria
  • Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, U.K.
  • Institute of Chartered Mediators & Reconciliators
  • Nigerian Institute of Management

Mrs. Madubueze is a member of the Union Bank Sports Club. Her hobbies are reading, listening to classical music and cooking. Mrs. Juliet Adaobi Madubueze is happily married to Dr. Christian Chukwuemeke O. Madubueze and are blessed with three children.
