Ms Pepple graduated from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, with a degree in Political Science (First Class), in 1975 and obtained Masters� (Msc.) Degree from the University of London in UK. In 1981 she started her working career with Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation in 1976 (NYSC): In 1977, she became a Lecturer of Political Science in Rivers State. In 1988, Ms Pepple became the Deputy Secretary, Constituent Assembly, Federal Republic of Nigeria and was confirmed Secretary in 1989, and took up the provisional Office of the National Assembly at Abuja.
In 1990, she was appointed the Administrative Secretary of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Rivers State. In the same year, the Federal Government appointed her a Director of the Federal Civil Service. She became the Clerk Designate of the Senate National Assembly till 1992, when she was confirmed as the Clerk of the Senate (National Assembly). In 1994, Ms Pepple was a Director at the Presidency. She was appointed Permanent Secretary in March 1999 and has served in that capacity in the Federal Civil Service Commission, Federal Ministry Of Transport, Information, Petroleum Resources, Commerce, Agriculture and Water Resources. She is currently Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance. She also served as the Governor of OPEC for Nigeria from 2001 to 2004. She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Administrators. Ms Pepple enjoys listening to Music and Reading.
